This is a vintage hand-held bearing compass made in Sweden marine navigation aid with Sestrel dial. This is a fantastic vintage compass set, perfectly suited to pleasure yachting or as an interesting desk ornament for those who yearn for the sea. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home or top deck. This compass seems to be in good working condition is complete with prism and sight attached to the compass. In addition, the light is in working condition when you press the button on the handle. Compass comes with an original dovetail box. The compass shows some wear, patina, scratches and scuffing, but is in pretty good overall condition cosmetically.
