Vintage Nautical Ban Light |Set of two

This set of 2 nautical ban lights is 20 cm tall with 10cm glass and base diameter. The old nautical 90-degree passageway lights are made of brass and are perfect for indoor or outdoor use. We rewired the whole light fixture with a ground wire. The triangular base has three mount holes. The glass shade is enclosed in a brass cage, both can easily be removed to give access to the bulb. This vintage passageway wall light can hold any standard bulb including LED. Mid-20th-century ship lights are rewired and polished up to become attractive wall sconces or lamps. You must rewire every lamp. The trick of the trade is to twist or electrical tape the ends of the new wire to the old; as you pull the old wire, the new cord is drawn into the fixture. Ship lights used for illumination and navigation boast a simple, durable design. As salvage, these lights are wonderful for use indoors and out, as a wall sconce in the bath or on the porch, as a table lamp, even as path lighting in the garden.
